The Features of Car Activated Carbon Filter Media
1. Car cabin filter media consists of two outer layers made of synthetic fabric, capable of trapping solid particles and aerosols with efficiency equal to standard cabin filters. The additional third layer of filtering medium placed between non-woven layers is an active carbon granulate, which filters harmful gases from air.
2.The specific surface area of one gram of active carbon reaches up to 600-900 m² and therefore the amount of stopped gases can be very large. The amount of active carbon in the filters allows to eliminate up to 90% of harmful gases.
